Why we treat it this way
A good filling is measured by how much healthy tooth it leaves behind, not by how much it removed. Using magnification and rubber-dam isolation, we remove only the decay, then rebuild the surface with composites that bond to enamel and flex with the tooth as you chew.
Every restoration is polished and adjusted to your bite, because a fraction of a millimetre too high is the most common cause of post-treatment discomfort.
